This oil on canvas is chosen from the artwork series Rolling Blocks, produced in 2018, by a famous Chinese artist Yuhong Wang 王煜宏. Wang has been famous for painting items used in daily life, from the old days in mid-twentieth century to those as far back as in Ming-Qing dynasty, in her modern oil paintings.

In Series One, Wang has used porcelain bowls and cups from Qing dynasty, books from Republic China, and calendar cards from mid-20^th century, all combined and painted in a contemporary setting.
